SHIPPING AND PROCESSING

At Modernhomestyle.net we strive to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible. Orders for in-stock merchandise are generally processed within 2-3 business days and delivered within 7-14 business days, depending on the location. When your order ships, we will notify you via email. Included in your email will be a tracking number for your shipment. We encourage you to track your package online or on the phone with the carrier. Most of our orders are shipped via Freight Carrier.

 

CURB-SIDE DELIVERY

All shipments, unless specifically denoted, are curb-side shipments. A freight carrier delivers this items. We call this delivery 'Self Service' because you'll need to move the package into your residence yourself. Keep in mind that products that ship this method are either too large or heavy to ship with a small parcel carrier, so you may require the assistance of a friend or family member at delivery. All larger shipments, shipped via freight carrier, will require a signature at the time of delivery. Orders that must ship freight require the shipping company to contact the customer prior to delivery. Deliveries are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m within a 4-hour window for delivery, Monday through Friday. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, Modernhomestyle.net can not be held responsible for damages that may occur during delivery. It is the customers responsibility to inform us of any problems with this type of delivery at the time of purchase. If an item is shipped and returned because it is not deliverable due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for shipping both ways. If the product is returned because the freight company could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and the order will be subject to our regular return policies.

DELIVERY INSPECTION

Although we take great care to package our items in a manner that insures safe delivery, accidents can happen. We request that you inspect your item(s) upon delivery. In case of any damage print "Damaged Upon Arrival" where you sign for the items and refuse delivery. After delivery is refused and damage is verified, we will file a claim and send you a replacement product. If product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier. Modernhomestyle.net shall have no liability or responsibility for damage occurring through the acts or omissions of a Third Party Shipper. For curbside deliveries, it is Customer's responsibility to un-package the furniture items and move the items into the home. If damage has occurred to the furniture during shipment, Customer must refuse the shipment and immediately notify Modernhomestyle staff at office@modernhomestyle.net. PLEASE NOTE: If you authorize the freight company to leave freight without a signature, Modernhomestyle.net cannot be held liable for any damages or missing pieces. Leaving a note is the same as signing for your products in good condition. PLEASE NOTE: Signing your delivery receipt without noting any damages legally states that you have received your freight in good condition. Your complete satisfaction is very important to us and we pledge to do our best to make sure you get what you want the way you want it.

Shipping charge estimates are available on our Shopping Cart page after you select your desired items for purchase. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping charges represent Curb-Side delivery. For any other type of service please contact us at office@modernhomestyle.net.

 
PLEASE NOTE: Claims received after 7 days of delivery cannot be processed.

 

LOCAL PICK-UP:
Customers are more than welcome to stop by our warehouse and pick up their merchandise free of charge.
 
LOCAL AREA DELIVERY:
Modernhomestyle.net is offering FREE SHIPPING for orders over $1100.00 All orders in local area less than $1100.00 are subject to $100.00 shipping charge.
 
SALES TAX:

We are required to charge tax on purchases made from Florida. The sales tax rate varies within the counties in Florida. This amount will be added to your merchandise total and reflected on your credit card charge. We do not collect sales tax on orders shipped outside of Florida.
